The response that we have had so far from users is overwhelming. We are humbled and really appreciate the efforts that the users have taken in giving us their feedback for making this a great site, of which we have incorporated very few till now and will incorporate the others gradually.
Today we are launching our blog to better interact with our users. On this blog we will be having regular entries on the country’s events/policies with an expert blog once every month on any topic of the expert’s choice.
We set out with a vision of “To be an informative, educative and interactive online platform on Indian politics, noteworthy national events and to increase awareness about important national issues by ensuring participation from our fellow citizens” and we still have a long way to go before we fully realize our vision.
Till now over 20,000 unique visitors have visited our site and we are thankful to our users for pubcizing our site. We will soon be launching a comparison feature on our website and add more features in the coming months.
At this point we would like to express our sincere thanks to Edul Patel, Aarav Singhal, Himesh Joshi, Ankur Tulsian, Srinidhi Govindarajan, Vivek Jha, Allen Richard Kerketta, Raju Naik, Suresh Varghese, Ilyas Saudagar, Aniket Bokade, Kamlesh Agrawal, Shrikant Shelke, Piyush Chauhan, Y. Akshay and Sharth Mandan who helped us before our launch to get the site launched on time. In December we were joined by two awesome people Harshavardhan and Umang Mathur who helped us in making the timeline and comparisons feature (which will be launched very soon).
We really look forward to your continued guidance and support.
We would love to hear from you (please drop us a email at [email protected]) and would like your help in spreading our site.
We are planning to make this a user developed interactive blog (please drop us a mail at [email protected] if you would be willing to contribute) and are confident that you will help us in making this a wonderful blog on Indian politics.

Great work guys!
I have been follwing this website for a few a weeks now and even though I think it is an inredibly important initiative, as currently poised this is a slightly ill-targeted website. To have an actual impact the information that this website provides has to reach the voting population of India. The India where real politics happen. Guess how many internet savvy folks you will find there? Not many I believe. I want this information to reach there, not the facebook public who give it one look, share among their friends to seem more cool and then forget about it. That’s the real challenge you guys face. It is hard I know , but in todays world it is a lot easier than it used to be. I come from a region like this, backwoard, not much education and extremely dirty politics. Even though most of the people in this region don’t use the internet, all of them have mobile phones and radio. Can you leverage these media and break the communication barrier? If yes, then you can really make a difference.
Remember the war of independence wasn’t fought by the nawabs and maharajas, it was fought by the villagers and peasants. Somehow with no internet, radio, television etc. they still managed to overthrow the firangs.
@ infinity : to bhaiya kuch solution bhi batao na, aapko kya lagta hai ki pehle hi din ye website wale india ke har gaon mein jake logon ko ye sab bata payenge. khud uthao thodi jimmedari, jahan se tum aaye ho us area mein relevant leaders ke pamphlet distribute karao, at least jinke paas internet hai unhe batao. Kuch karo, bas sochte hue zindagi mat nikalo. Koi acha kaam kar raha hai to encourage karo, saath do. At least apne gaon/shahar mein to kar hi sakte ho. Be the change that u want to be…….
Aapko kisne bataya ke hum khali batiya rahe hain? Yahan pe hum apko pura byorah to dene nahi wale, lekin itna bata dete hain ke hum khali nahi baithe, jitna kar sakte hain utna kar rahe hain. Lekin akela chana bhand to phodh nahi sakta.
Aur hamari post se apko aisa kyon laga ke hum protsahan nahi de rahe? Keval “great work guys” kah dena protsahan hota hai kya? Humne apne vichar rakhe hain aur kahin aisa nahi bola ke ye kam kharab hai bas itna hi ke isey target aur achhe se karna chahiye.
Khade hokar keval tali nahi bajana chahte they bas hum, hamare hisab se eik sahi rah bhi dikhana chahte they.
Humne kamne kam se kam 2 aur aisee websites dekhi hain, jo aisi information asani se internet ke zariye uplabdh karati hain. Lekin shuruati utsukta ke bad mein unko sab bhul gaye. Hum nahi chahte ke is website ke sath bhi waisa hi ho. Isliye hamare hisab se jo uchit karan tha un websites ke fail hone ka wo hamne kah diya. Ab kisi ko bura lage to ismein hamara kya ukhad lega.
Thank You for the encouragement and suggestions. We agree that only internet users do not constitute the whole population. Infact the total number of internet users in India is around 12 00 00 000 which is roughly 1/10 th of the total population. We would like to reach this 1/10th of the total population through the site first for which we would like your help. Once we are able to reach a significant portion of the internet users in India we will then focus on the non internet users.
I wish you good luck guys. But keep in mind the majority of the internet savvy public doesn’t care about politics (a sad truth) so even if you are able to reach the target I would be surprised if there will be even a minor change. Remember jago re abhiyan by tata? They ran tv ads, newspaper, radio ads and of course their website to get the urban population and he youth to vote. They did their best to make the entire registration process as easy as possible. You know what happened that year? Mumbai saw the lowest turn out in past 10 years.
I have little doubt that you will achieve your target and be visible to a much larger internet audience. But would that make a difference? You need to ask yourselves that and learn from the past similar projects.
I am not saying forget the internet audience, no keep pushing. But what I am saying is that at the same time keep the non-internet audience in mind because even 1% of that audience can do wonders.
So I am not sure about the strategy of doing one section first and then the other. It would be great id you could explore the two the samw time. All of us know that spreading word in the urban jungle is not that difficult. So if you really want you can focus your efforts on both.
I really want to see this project be successful and not fail like jago re and others. Keep up the good work, know your audience and be smart. Good luck.
Thanks for the suggestions. We would think about what can be done.
Its definitely a great work from your end. I was just looking at facts of the former telecom minister A. Raja, as per your data it states that he is neither accused nor convicted. I suppose it needs to be updated. I understand that giving suggestions is easy and empathize that you would face certain issues while implementing them. I felt that, there is a need of more data in terms of a party’s accomplishments and failures during their reign. And if possible crime and corruption related stats too. Thank you.
हिंदी मई भी प्रस्तुत करे और जल्दी समन्झ आ जाएगा.बहुत ही बढीया .आप बधाई के पात्र है सब लोग जो भी इसके पीछे हैं.

1st i would thank for the guys who have brought this idea of sharing the info about neta and best of luck for you guys.
The suggested approach for reaching rest of the popullation is to engage with any newspaper who can dare to publish this becuase newspaper is the only media which reaches to everyone. Try and add more info on each one of what they have done when they were ruling(good & bad) etc.
